Parade of Light Tractor Run to brighten bank holiday morning

The Meath Macra Parade of Light Tractor Run returns this St Brigid's bank holiday Monday, 3rd February, continuing its mission to support vital charities. Running since 2018, the event has raised nearly €10,000, with this year’s proceeds going to SOSAD Ireland and Embrace Farm.

Participants are invited to Park Ri, Kells, with registration open from 6.30am to 7am. The run will start sharp at 7am, offering an unforgettable experience as tractors take to the roads at dawn, moving together as the sun rises.

Inspired by the Darkness Into Light walk, this unique event blends community spirit with a stunning early morning journey. A €20 donation per driver is suggested, with all proceeds going to support mental health and farm safety initiatives.

The Parade of Light will be a remarkable event that will positively impact the lives of others and Meath Macra na Feirme are optimistic that this Parade of Light will be the biggest and brightest yet!
