Dry but cloudy to start. It will brighten up through the morning with some hazy sunshine developing, becoming widespread by the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in a light to moderate south to southeasterly breeze.
National Outlook
Overview: High pressure will bring largely settled conditions over the coming days with plenty of dry, bright and warm weather on the way.
Monday night: Dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with a mainly light southeast or variable breeze.
Tuesday: Warm and sunny with highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees, in a light southeasterly breeze.
Tuesday night: Dry with clear spells. Some patches of mist and fog will form in light southeasterly or variable winds. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
Wednesday: A few showers possible in the afternoon but otherwise dry and sunny. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in a light southerly breeze.
Wednesday night: Dry with clear spells, before cloud builds in the northwest later. Patches of mist and fog will form in light southerly or variable winds that will veer northwesterly by morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Thursday: Cloud will extend southwards across the country with some light isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in Connacht and Ulster and between 15 to 20 degrees in Munster and Leinster. Light to moderate northerly winds.
Further outlook: Nearby high pressure looks likely to continue to dominate our weather although some light rain or showers are possible at times. Daytime temperatures will fall back slightly next weekend, generally getting into the mid-teens.
