Hospice Foundation invite to Café Conversation next Tuesday
The Irish Hospice Foundation has extended an open invite to a Café Conversation, on Tuesday September 26 (11am-1pm) in the Annebrook Hotel, Mullingar.
A public event, it is free of charge and the topics to be covered will include End of Life Care and Living Wills in Ireland.
The public will be invited to create meaningful interactions about death and dying in Ireland today and in the future.
The purpose is to promote discussions about End of Life Care and planning for it. It will give people a chance to say what is important to them about end of life and their wishes.
The outcome will feed into and End of Life Charter which the Irish Hospice Foundation is drawing up.
Members of North Westmeath Hospice say they hope local people can join in to develop the conversation and ensure that the people of the midlands have their say.
They have asked that people let them know by email or telephone if you are available to go along – bring a friend and spread the word.
