Launch of Darkness in Light Westmeath next week

Pieta House will launch the 2013 Darkness into Light Westmeath event on Tuesday April 16 in Mullingar.

Joan Freeman, founder and CEO of Pieta House, will speak at the launch and footballer Dessie Dolan and motivational speaker Gerry Duffy will also be there to show their support.

The launch gets underway at 5pm in the Greville Arms Hotel on Pearse Street.

Darkness into Light is a fundraising walk/run in aid of Pieta House, the suicide and self-harm crisis centre. It begins in darkness at 4am on Saturday May 11 and ends as dawn is breaking.
