Gold, gold and more gold!: Ballymore"s swimmers took part in the County Westmeath Swimming Final held on Sunday 26 April at the Regional Sports Centre.Outstanding performances from all the local swimmers saw a return of three gold, six silver and five certificates. The gold winners were, Kelly Ennis (girls U8 freestyle); Oisín Ryan (boys U10 backstroke); and Siobhán Ryan (girls U14 backstroke; the silver winners were: Aisling McCormack (girls U12 backstroke) and the boys U13 relay team, Oisín Ryan, Kevin Cuffe, PJ Maxwell, Eoin Ryan and Daniel Ennis; and the certificate winners were the girls U13 relay team, Samia Ennis, Caoimhe Kelly, Olivia Cuffe, Aisling McCormack and Aoife Dunne.Ballymore now has three swimmers going forward to the Community Games All-Ireland swimming final, Kelly Ennis, and brother and sister Oisín and Siobhán Ryan. This will be held in August in the Regional Sports Centre, Athlone.
