Ronan up for Young Pharmacist of the Year Award
Mullingar-based pharmacist Ronan Sheridan has been announced as a nominee in the Helix Health Pharmacist Awards 2012, which recognise the invaluable work that pharmacists do in communities across the country.The announcement follows an open call to members of the public and the pharmacy community to nominate pharmacists nationwide who epitomise professional excellence.Ronan, who is a member of staff at Market Point Pharmacy in Mullingar, has been nominated in the Young Pharmacist of the Year Award category, along with Geraldine McInerney (Unicare, Limerick) and Fiona Tracey (Cara Pharmacy, Sligo).Winners of the Helix Health Pharmacist Awards will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Saturday November 10 in Dublin, bringing together pharmacists from all areas of the profession.The Overall Pharmacist of the Year Award will be awarded to a winner from the above categories and a Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented on the night of the Awards.
