Liverpool legend Barnes to make Mullingar appearance

Former Liverpool and England midfielder John Barnes is the latest football legend who will be brought to Mullingar by events organiser and sports businessman Gareth Hayes.

The former Glasgow Celtic manager, who starred for England in the 1990 World Cup, will appear at Mullingar’s Number 1 bar (Harbour Street) on Friday December 6, with doors opening at 7pm.

With Liverpool flying high in the Premiership at the moment, Barnes’ arrival is sure to whet the appetite of football fans of all persuasions.
