Scruffs the stars at Belvedere dog event

They don't always have pedigree papers, they don't always have crystal-encrusted collars - but what the dogs in the annual Scruffs Dog Show do have, is the love of their owners!And yes, it's time to get grooming again, for October 4 - the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals - the Scruffs Dog Show takes place at Belvedere House in Mullingar.World Animal Week is an annual event celebrated around the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, and the event helps to raise awareness for the difference we can all make to improve animal welfare and to make the world a better and safer place for all animals that play such an important part in our lives.The Dog Show judging at this event will be based on happy, healthy, well adjusted and loved dogs regardless of lineage or ancestral lines.Registration takes place on the day and all support is greatly appreciated.
