The Greville is coming back
The odd lack of activity at a certain spot on Pearse Street in Mullingar has been evident since March.
It is where The Greville Arms Hotel stands. The Greville has been closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The good news is that it is reopening, on Monday next, June 29.
“After 15 long weeks, we are delighted to welcome friends and guests back to the Greville Arms,” said a hotel spokesperson.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back.
“We want to assure you that all possible health measures are in place and we will follow official recommendations.”
Among the measures the hotel is taking are five full air changes per hour.
The pavilion will also be unveiled, and the inaugural Westmeath historical tours will begin.
The cafe and carvery will open daily, as normal, and a special menu and bar service will be available every day from 5pm.
Call the hotel on 044 934 8563 for reservations (there is limited booking).
