GAA club applies for planning for a major redevelopment of its grounds

Tyrrellspass GAA club has applied for planning for a major new development at its club grounds.

The planning application submitted this week includes details for the construction of a full sized pitch, an underage pitch, two training areas, a hurling wall and a dressing room building, as well as pitch flood lighting. Planning permission has also been sought for a new car parking area to facilitate 108 cars and four buses.

The decision due date for the application is September 7.
