Seasonal activities continue in Mullingar Golf Club

There was a fine turn out as expected for the Men"s Captain"s (Mr. Pat Keenaghan) dinner on Friday night last and there is every reason to expect that next Friday"s event to honour Lady Captain, Miriam will be just as enjoyable an affair, indeed, if not better.AGMThe Men"s branch AGM takes place on Sunday evening next at four o"clock and the ladies" equivalent will be held on the following Wednesday at 7.30pm.Winter LeagueThe men"s winter league is up and running and due to representations from participants it has been decided to: - 1. Play the winter league qualifying rounds over 15 holes (holes 4 to 18) and 2. Allow play in 2s, 3s and fours. Competitors who have already submitted qualifying cards in the competition will have their scores reduced by whatever they scored on holes 1, 2 and 3.
