TV chef and rugby legend join forces for Curraghmore NS fundraiser
The Parents Council at Curraghmore NS, in association with Buckley's Supervalu and Buckley's Centra, are hosting celebrity chef Kevin Dundon and ex rugby international and TV presenter Donncha O'Callaghan next Saturday May 26.
The action begins at 2pm on Saturday afternoon when O'Callaghan, who recently retired from rugby, presents the Centra 'Live Well' initiative, which is aimed at young people.
As well as getting an opportunity to meet the 2009 grand slam and two time Champions Cup winner, the audience will get to hear O'Callaghan discuss how to make simple changes towards healthier living.
At 6.30pm, Kevin Dundon and Munster legend O'Callaghan will host a special cookery demonstration for all the family.
Join Kevin and Donncha as they deliver an evening of cookery, with plenty of laughs and craic. Tickets include a free Prosecco and food tasting reception from 6.30pm and over the evening there will be free luxury spot prizes, food sampling and the odd tipple.
Tickets for the evening event are €25 (This is an adult only event, over 18s only), while tickets for the afternoon event cost €10 for adults and €5 for children.
Tickets are available for sale at Buckleys SuperValu in Mullingar, Buckleys Centra in Millmount, at Curraghmore NS, and also from Eventbrite, and from Parents Association members.
The Parents Association endeavors to raise €10,000 each year through events, which is the monetary contribution required to ensure each pupil is supplied with art materials, bus hire, additional social and sport development classes/activities throughout the year. Proceeds from events do not sit in a pot but are actively and fully used on a daily basis in our children’s school day.
