Three of the best for James P

Streete jockey James P Sullivan has taken a shine to the winner’s enclosure with three visits in the past couple of days. Last night (Monday) he piloted the Ruth Carr trained Amazing Blue Sky to a one and a half length success.

The winner was returned at 100/30 favourite but James’s two other winners were priced more invitingly. On Friday he was aboard another of the Carr string, Tanawar and he had a neck to spare when winning at Redcar, by a neck.

It was an ever closer call for Sullivan’s third winner, Burning Thread. He squeezed the Tim Etherington trained horse home by a neck in Ayr on Sunday with the winner being returned at 12/1.
