Clonkill farm and yard sell after auction

Coonan Property concluded the sale of 23 acres of land at Clonkill, Mulllingar last week.

The property was offered by public auction on Wednesday October 14, and there were three main bidders.

Bidding started at €130,000, and it went in increments of €5,000 and €10,000 until it reached €205,000.

At that point the vendor was consulted, and the property was withdrawn.

Negotiations were held with the highest bidder and a deal was agreed immediately afterwards.

The property was purchased by a Mullingar based solicitor in trust.

The vendor was happy with the result, which made over the guide price.

The lands are generally of free draining soils and are laid out in five good sized divisions, all surrounded by attractive trees, and good road frontage to a secondary road.

The lands are all in grass.

The lands also have the benefit of a useful farmyard and collecting facilities.
