Do you want to restyle your wardrobe and help Mullingar Lions Club at the same time?The club is holding an evening called From the Rails Fashion Extravaganza in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday May 24.Organising committee members said they would really appreciate your "good as new" occasion and designer wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, babywear and costume jewellery.All items will be sold at keen prices on the evening, and your support and generosity will greatly help the Lions Club charity services during this time of recession.The drop-off points for your collections are Mullingar Chamber of Commerce on Mount Street and the Genesis factory in the Lynn Business Park.In the coming weeks, the club will keep you updated on the valuable items that will be available to buy - you might find something for your summer style!---------------------------------------------------Applications for the Lions Club Youth Volunteer Award are now being accepted from the secondary schools.
