Boy arrested after Oldcastle co-op fire
At approximately 8pm on Saturday, October 31, Gardaí and local Fire Services attended the scene of a fire at a building at the former Railway Yard.
Gardaí have arrested and charged a male juvenile in connection with an investigation into a Halloween blaze at the co-op building in Oldcastle, Co Meath.
At approximately 8pm on Saturday, October 31, Gardaí and local Fire Services attended the scene of a fire at a building at the former Railway Yard.
No injuries were reported, although there was extensive damage caused to the property.
Over the next several hours, Fire Service personnel worked to extinguish the fire.
The juvenile male arrested will appear before a special sitting of Trim District Court this afternoon, Tuesday, November 3.
