An evening with John Lonergan

Transition year students in the schools of Mullingar have been invited to An Evening With John Lonergan, hosted by the Soroptimists, at Mullingar Arts Centre tomorrow evening (Wednesday February 13).Sheila Flanagan, the president of Soroptimists Mullingar and District, said: "The aim of the evening is awareness and getting a dialogue going in the context of our local project, which is to assist the St Vincent De Paul Education Committee, and our national project in terms of positive mental health and suicide prevention."Mr Lonergan will focus on his life, his experiences, the pressures of today, what we can all do."He is an experienced speaker and has a great interest in both the SI Mullingar project and our SI national project. We are looking forward to an interesting and informative evening."
