Make hay while the sun shines!

It’s looking like it’s going to be one of the hottest days of the year today, Tuesday June 17, with temperatures set to soar as high as 24 degrees in Mullingar.

Tonight it’s going to stay dry with clear spells and be mild and close with lows of 11 to 13 degrees in light breezes.

The sunshine is set to continue through tomorrow, with the mercury set to rise to 23 degrees, while on Thursday and Friday, the temperature is set to recede a little to 18 degrees. The outlook still looks good for the weekend with it forecasts set to be dry and warm.

Hayfever suffers however are set to endure the worst of this good weather, with Met Eireann forecasting a “very high” pollen count over the coming days.
