Mullingar Golf Club Captains’ Drive-In a success

This week saw a significant improvement in weather conditions resulting in plenty of activity in Mullingar Golf Club culminating in a very successful Captains’ Drive-In on Thursday March 17 officially kicking off the 2022 season.

We would like to wish Captains Dave Farrelly and Paula Davitt of the Men’s and Ladies’ branches respectively, as well as Tom Hickey and Frankie Moffatt of the Junior Boys’ and Girls’ branches respectively, the very best with the year ahead.

Captains’ Drive-In

Thursday March 17 was a super day for the Captains Drive In of both branches as well as both Junior Branches. Coinciding with St Patrick’s Day, and blessed with good weather and good spirit, this made for a fantastic opening to the golf season at Mullingar Golf Club and was very well supported by members, friends and guests.

The golf course and, in particular, the greens were presented in superb condition, thanks in the main to the work of our dedicated course maintenance team.
