Moriartys' wedding photo from 40 years ago

John Moriarty from Castlegregory in County Kerry was manager of The Greville Arms Hotel in Mullingar when he and Mary Flanagan of Jamestown Road, Finglas, were married in 1982.

Their wedding was at St Margaret's in Finglas.

Their photo appeared on the front page of the Westmeath Examiner dated Saturday April 3, 1982.

Mary and John celebrated their 40-year anniversary this year with their three daughters on a trip to Fermanagh.

Bernie Comaskey, a long-time contributor and supporter of the Examiner, found some old editions of the paper, and rather than throw them out or see them go to waste, he dropped them in to the office – and this is one of them.
