Columb Barrack closed on March 28 2012, a year ago next Wednesday, and Garry Loughlin photographic exhibition to mark that year opens on Friday March 22.

A Farewell to Arms launches at 6-8pm in the Discover Ireland Centre, Market House, Market Square, Mullingar.

Garry’s exhibition features images of the last working days of the barracks, the buildings and its people, and it will run for two weeks
