The mixed bag that is this summer's weather will continue on Saturday with sunny spells and scattered showers, some “heavy” in downfall.

“The showers will become less frequent in the afternoon for a time, then cloud will increase in the southwest and west, bringing patchy rain and drizzle there through the evening.

Saturday is forecast to be dry in most areas with some lingering showers along western coasts. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
