Brownstown Camogie Club host ‘Ladies Night Out’ fundraiser

Brownstown Camogie Club are hosting a ‘Ladies Night Out’ fundraising event on Saturday, October 22, in the Darnley Hotel, Athboy.

Like a lot of other clubs, their fundraising options have been limited in the last two years due to Covid, so this event will be important for the club.

They promise it will be a fun night out where ladies can dress up and swap the pitch or the sidelines for socialising and dancing. They can let their hair down and catch up with friends while grabbing a bargain or two.

Ladies will be treated to a Prosecco reception on arrival and can choose three items of clothing or accessories for €20.

There are lots of fabulous spot prizes to be won on the night and there is also a €100 One-4-All voucher for the best dressed lady. A DJ will keep everyone dancing till late.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We have been lucky with donations of clothes, accessories, spot prizes and general sponsorship from the wider community, and we really appreciate that support."
