Castletown Geoghegan Mid-Summer Ball

As plans step up a pace for the refurbishment of the hall in Castletown Geoghegan, the development group has announced the event of the summer - The Castletown Geoghegan Mid-Summer Ball - in Middleton Park House on June 16.This promises to be a night to remember as guests are greeted on arrival with a glass of champagne to the beautiful sounds of the harp and piano. There follows a four-course banquet with wine in the main dining room.The Great Hall with its magnificent staircase will provide the perfect backdrop for a night of fun and dancing, with full bar available. Music is by Alan Lawlor and Cornerstonz followed by DJ Trevor, and of course the special guest is Conor Quinn.And since you are looking your best in your beautiful evening wear, why not have your photograph taken by professional photographer John McCauley.The committee wishes to acknowledge the incredible generosity of Gerard Lynam (proprietor), who is not only providing the venue, but is also sponsoring the meal on the night. As this is definitely a night you will not want to miss and seats are limited to 200 you would be well advised to book tickets early.Tickets are €50 each (every cent of which goes directly into the Hall Refurbishment Fund) and are available from any committee member or by ringing 087 6396716.
