A special Christmas event in All Saints Church on the weekend of December 16-18 raised almost €2,500 for the MRI Scanner Appeal for the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. There is still a shortfall in the appeal and anyone interested in contributing can find out more for the Friends of Regional Hospital Mullingar.
All Saints was decorated on the theme of Christmas carols and there was a ‘Mrs Bear’s Woodland Kitchen Display’ for the young (and young at heart).
There was a selection of Christmas trees and decorations in the church windows to admire, and offers of tea and coffee for visitors.
A spokesperson for All Saints complemented their fundraising organiser, Emma Coburn, and the other volunteers who helped out over the weekend.
