Funeral of local man to take place this Saturday

The funeral of a local man who passed away on December 6 last takes place this Saturday, January 7, at 11am in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar.

Mr Michael Byrne, Bournemouth, England and late of The Downs and Cloghan, Mullingar, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on December 6, 2022.

Michael, beloved husband of Regina (recently deceased), devoted father of Stephen, Arlene, Yvonne, Vanessa, Sarah-Ann, Michael and James, and brother of Val, Miriam, Frank and Rose will be greatly missed by a wide circle of family, relatives and friends.

May Michael Rest In Peace.

Michael’s funeral Mass will on Saturday morning will be followed by interment in Walshestown cemetery.

Family flowers only, Michael’s wish is for any donations to be made to the Bournemouth Hospital Cancer Research Foundation, who supported and cared for his wife Regina during her period of illness (information here).
