Midlands comedian to appear on popular game show

Comedian Neil Delamere will feature on an episode of Celebrity Mastermind this weekend.

Taking to Facebook to reveal his involvement in the game show, Offaly native Neil said: "Tune in to see me do well or badly or somewhere in between."

Celebrity Mastermind will be broadcast on BBC1 this Saturday at 5.40pm.

Each episode features four celebrity contestants competing in the question-and-answer game. The famous players have two minutes to answer questions about a specialised subject before being given two more minutes to answer general knowledge questions.

The celebrity with the highest total score at the end of the episode is declared the winner and earns money for the charity of their choice
