Millie’s Maxol Magic to be screened at the Greville Arms
There can’t be many characters in Mullingar who are better known than Millie Walsh.
He has a friendly word for everyone at the Maxol garage on the Dublin Road, and his unique charm has now been captured on film.
Conor English and Ethan Scally have made a documentary about Millie, and it is now ready for a public viewing.
Its title is Millie’s Maxol Magic, and its first showing takes place on Wednesday March 29 at The Greville Arms Hotel.
The film-makers have said that Millie hasn’t yet seen the film so the premiere night will “be some craic, and he loves the craic!”.
All proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to the St Camillus Nursing Home, Killucan, on Millie’s request.
Doors open at 7pm on Wednesday the 29th; the screening is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm, and the running time of the film is 50 minutes.
