Councillors object to environmental directive

Cllr. Michael Newman did not refer to the pinemartin as a bird. This was, unfortunately, a proofreading error on the part of the Westmeath Examiner. The Westmeath Examiner has apologised to Cllr. Newman, and very graciously, he made no issue of it.
