Brendan Grace gives a shout out to his family in Mullingar!

It’s 9.30am Florida time and I’m talking to Brendan Grace via phone.

He is in high festive spirits and looking forward to visiting his family in Mullingar over the Christmas holidays.

“Don’t you be worrying about getting me up early, I’m no stranger to early mornings,” says the comedy legend.

Brendan has to be up even earlier tomorrow (Saturday December 14) for a radio interview with Foster and Allen, The Swarbriggs, Ben Dolan, Pascal Brennan, TR Dallas with Ricey Scully on Midlands Radio.

"Every year I have at least one Christmas dinner in the midlands, usually with the Dunne family in Gaybrook," said Brendan.

"A big shout out to my 'one and only baby', my 38-year-old baby daughter Melanie and son-in-law Frank Gillespie from Tyrrellspass!"
