Calling all budding children's writers!

If you've got plenty of imagination, are a born storyteller and have an urge to put pen to paper, this year's Munch Time story writing competition could be your chance to embark on an exciting new career.With €1000 and a one-to-one tutorial with Irish children's author, Sarah Webb, up for grabs, entries are being sought by the Munch Bunch yogurt brand from those who love to share stories with three to five-year-olds.The only prerequisites are that the story is inspired by the loveable Munch Bunch character, begins with, Once upon a Munch Time, there was a cow called Munch…,- and is 600-800 words long.The 2012 competition is supported by the Reading Association of Ireland (www.reading.ie) and best-selling author, Sarah Webb, who was on hand to help Munch the Cow launch this year's competition and shares writing tips on the competition site www.munchtimeireland.com. Since I won the Munch Time Story Writing competition last year, my story, Munch on Tour, has continued to evolve.
