Multyfarnham community garden transformed into North Pole family experience
Abbey Blooms Garden, a community initiative by Nua Healthcare that was created by the company to be enjoyed by the people of Multyfarnham and the wider County Westmeath, has been transformed into a magical family North Pole experience.
All children that arrive at the gardens, which provides some employment to people with intellectual disabilities, will receive a special passport to take them through a maze of winter wonderland pathways, tunnels and gazebos meeting the little worker elves and Mrs Claus on their way to meet Santa. There will also be a large ribbon tree of positivity and remembrance within the gardens. The ribbons will be given to parents by Santa who can then place on the tree themselves in memory of loved ones.
The gardens have been transformed into a village of sparkling lights, candy canes, immersive decorations, and music resulting in a magical and unforgettable journey to meet Santa as he and his elves prepare for the grandest event of the year – Christmas Eve. Children who visit the new North Pole experience will receive a present and their parents won’t be leaving empty handed either as they will be receiving mince pies and festive drinks as well.
Established by Nua Healthcare Services as a Community Inclusion Initiative in August 2021. Abbey Blooms Botanical Gardens which was especially popular locally during the Covid pandemic seeks to give back to the community in a way that promotes wellness for us all, whilst providing its visitors with a beautiful and peaceful backdrop from within which they can rejuvenate and reconnect with others, and truly appreciate a stunning display of some of mother nature’s most wonderful botanical creations.

Each evening the visits take place between 4pm – 9pm
Ticket costs:
€17:50 for children – includes access to the North Pole, Santa Visit & Santa Gift
€12:50 for adults – includes access to the North Pole and a free mince pie and festive drink from the Garden Café.
