Mullooly special guest at Castlepollard event this week

Castlepollard Local Development have Ciaran Mullooly as a special guest for an upcoming event this Thursday, January 11. The evening will focus on how to harness local energy and knowledge, to identify needs and funding possibilities in order to deliver community development.

Best known as RTÉ midlands correspondent, Ciaran will draw on the research he did for his new book, ‘The Future is Now’ Ciaran will share his insights on how to successfully empower communities.

The event will be of interest to existing and proposed community groups throughout north Westmeath and all are welcome to attend.

Other news on the night will concern grant aid opportunities for Castlepollard residents and groups to develop new community facilities.

The event is at Castle Varagh Hotel on January 11 (7-9pm).
