Mullingar musician to support Niall Horan in 3Arena gig
A Mullingar musician has been announced as a supporting act for Niall Horan for the Irish leg of his upcoming world tour.
Pop singer Amy Michelle will be playing in front of a sold-out 3Arena on February 23, 24 and 25
The 23-year-old has been active on the Irish music scene since 2021 when she began uploading self-recorded songs online during the Covid-19 pandemic.
She has since gone on to release two EPs, ‘Is that all there is?’ and ‘Felicity Stories’ which has led to a record deal with Method Records.
Amy’s style has been described as ‘melancholic pop’ that explores the anxieties of modern life.
Sharing the announcement, she would be supporting Niall Horan in Dublin on social media, she said:
“Words can’t describe how grateful and excited I am to announce that I’ll be opening for Niall Horan for his three sold-out shows in the 3Arena next month,” she said
“I cannot wait to see you there. Happy birthday to me - Mullingar boys don’t stop.”
