Council to hold information workshops to help groups access grants

Westmeath County Council is hosting funding and resources information events in Athlone and Mullingar next week.

The community development section in Westmeath County Council in conjunction with Westmeath PPN are holding two information workshops, one in Athlone and one in Mullingar, to help with their funding enquiries.

Both events will give community and voluntary groups information about grants and supports from Westmeath County Council and other bodies for 2024.

Topics will include information on grants and supports available under the following themes - community grants and awards, sports, arts and heritage, environment, SICAP, Leader, rural supports and several other supports and grants through Westmeath County Council and other agencies.

The first workshop takes place on Monday, January 29 from 10.30am – 1pm in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone.

The second workshop is set for Wednesday, January 31 from 7pm – 9.30pm in the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar.
