The Scór na bPáistí county final was held on Thursday April 18 and was a brilliant showcase of the immense talent in the primary schools around Westmeath.
Scór na bPáistí is an excellent initiative run by Scór Iarmhí and has developed into a highly entertaining event.
It is hoped that participation in this competition will encourage children to take the next step and enter Scór na nÓg through their local GAA clubs.
A brilliant atmosphere of friendly rivalry was evident around the always hospitable Downs GAA Centre, who hosted the final.
Bláthnaid Daly from Ballycomoyle was the Bean an Tí for the evening and did an excellent job keeping the packed clár moving swiftly.
