Mullingar man helps organise community food event in NY

Brehon Law Society of New York and Irish American Bar Association of New York give back to community

The Brehon Law Society of New York and the Irish American Bar Association of New York teamed up to give back to the community on May 15. Led by past president of the Brehons, Jennifer Frankola-Crawford, Esq, and new president of IABANY Darren Moore, Esq, who is from Mullingar, a group of attorneys gathered together at the parish house of St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on the Upper East Side of Manhattan to prepare sandwiches.

Altogether, the volunteer lawyers made more than 300 sandwiches and delivered them to the local community refrigerator for neighbours in need.

The groups have co-pledged to do this kind of community service event at least twice a year and encourage anyone to join along.
