Staffing proposal for MRI unit given the green light by HSE
The MRI Unit at Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar should soon be operational after the HSE approved the staffing proposal put forward by hospital management.
The news was announced in a social media post by Deputy Robert Troy yesterday evening.
"Really positive news this evening coming from Minister Stephen Donnelly and confirmed to me by the hospital manager.
"The staffing proposal for the MRI unit has being approved by the HSE, meaning the hospital can now appoint the necessary staff to bring this service into use.
"Thanks prudence of the management, a panel has already being created so the recruitment process is well advanced.
"I want to thank the Friends of the Hospital for all their incredible work, the community who contributed so generous and to the staff of the hospital for the work they do every single day," Deputy Troy said.
