Damage Control are among the acts lined up for Glúin Nua this Friday.

New talent to shine at Glúin Nua night

Glúin Nua – New Generation – will highlight the fresh wave of musicians and artists emerging in Mullingar, at Platform 5 in Clarke’s Bar this Friday, May 31.

Jack Gaudet is the driving force behind the event, as he was last year, and he wants to establish Glúin Nua as an annual fixture in the calendar.

The lineup has a mix of talent, featuring artists like Erin Reynolds, a familiar face on Mullingar’s music scene, and Meghan Bates, renowned for her captivating original songs. Jack will also grace the stage with original music, alongside The Bypass, who captivated audiences with a headline show at the Stables a few months ago.

There are two debut performances from Damage Control and Phoenix.

Glúin Nua will also showcase the cinematic talents of two young filmmakers, Ciaran Lavery and Adam Lowry, who will present their short films.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite, and at the door on the night.
