Fashion Aid event on Thursday will aid Rashid’s Pakistan effort
The Irish Friends of Pakistan present FASHION AID to be held at the Mullingar Arts Centre, this Thursday from 7pm.FASHION AID programme includes Top Local and National Live Musicians Underground, Singer/Composer Mike Cole who is currently appearing in RTE’s Volunteers Programme, Award Winning Hip Hop Dance Group from Flawless School of Dance in Kileely, Comedy Act Ross Brunton, Top Local and National models with Special Guest models Miss Sunday World, Racheal Wallace and Bscene Modelling. Video documentary by Mullingar IT consultant Rashid Butt from the flood affected areas in Pakistan.The clothes featured are from The Wardrobe, Chamaire, Unique Boutique, Style X Change, Cici, Elegant Lady, Olwyn’s Fashions Lingerie Specialist, Dorothy Perkins, Tom Birmingham Menswear and many more.Tickets €15 and children €2. All proceeds raised will be sent to Pakistan to help victims of the flood disaster.The Irish Friends of Pakistan would also like to thank the people of Mullingar and Westmeath for already donating over €6,000 within three short weeks of the appeal launch.Already with that money has enabled local man Rashid Butt of the Irish Friends of Pakistan to purchase water tanks which will be installed very soon in the villages of Pir Kot Sidhana, Massan, Chela and Kabli.
