Open day at Mullingar Garda Station on June 29 this year

An annual event that always draws a large crowd takes place this year on Saturday June 29 at Mullingar Garda Station.

It is the garda open day, and it runs from 11am to 3pm, including a sensory hour from 11am to noon.

Subject to weather conditions and/or operational commitments, the following units will be present: Garda Air Support, Armed Response Unit, Mounted Unit, Scenes of Crime Unit, Roads Policing and other local units.

There will be tours of the garda station and plenty of refreshments available.
