Relaxing fundraiser on Grace’s way to Tralee
A relaxing fundraiser for Grace O’Connor’s Rose of Tralee Journey promised attendees time for themselves, as well as advice on nutrition and exercise.
The event, at Killucan GAA hall on Sunday week last, June 16, was “a nice relaxing morning”, said Grace, and her guests did enjoy giving time to themselves, while also enjoying talks from expert speakers, yoga for all levels, guided meditation, a sound bath and more.
“We started off with yoga, nice and slow, we did a sound bath and a guided meditation and after a little break for tea and coffees and cakes, we had the guest speakers in,” said Grace.
They included a nutritionist, a personal trainer and a shaman. “We have a mindfulness coach and we have Claire, from a local farm as well.
“So myself, I’m a shaman and my sister is also shaman Ciara and she’s a mindfulness coach as well. We have a local personal trainer, Caitlin, and we have the nutritionist, Lucy, as well.
“A big thank-you to everybody who came and who supported us – we’re definitely planning on doing it again in the near future.
“And we have a table quiz on Thursday July 4 (8pm) in the Annebrook House Hotel.”
