My Lovely Horse have a number of centres including one on the old N4 between Clonard and Moyvally.
They cater for a variety of animals from horses, ponies and donkeys, to goats, dogs, cats and pigs.
On their website they state: “My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue is an animal welfare organisation that rescues, rehabilitate and rehomes unwanted, neglected and abused animals with the aim of giving them a life worth living.
“Our aim is to educate as many animal owners as we can; to work with as many law enforcement agencies as we can; to improve animal welfare throughout Ireland; to make all lives, worth living.”
The charity is named after the Fr Ted song written by Neil Hannon of the Divine Comedy, who has a connection to the charity, as reported by Hot Press.
