Fallen Lights first hometown headline gig
Five-piece rock outfit Fallen Lights play their first hometown gig tomorrow night, Saturday April 26, in The Stables.
Made up of frontman Graham Dowling, Jason Wiley on lead guitar, Billy Gilleran on keys and backing vocals, Andrew Cody on bass, and Ross Maloney on drums, Fallen Lights take much of their inspiration from iconic Irish rock artists like Thin Lizzy and U2.
Together since September of last year, these five music students have all been involved in the music scene from a young age, not least Graham who was a finalist on The Voice of Ireland.
As ex frontman of Icon on Fire, Graham has gigged with some of the biggest bands on the Irish music scene including, The Coronas, Bipolar Empire, The Minutes and hometown boy Bressie, and he is confident that the new band can achieve the same success and more.
“It’s a completely different approach than before, definitely a more commercial rock sound. It’s something I really think audiences will get” says Graham.
Doors open at 9pm. Entry fee is €5. For more check out www.facebook.com/fallenlightsofficial and www.twitter.com/fallenlightsIRE .
