Moate native shares 'incredible journey' at Miss Middle East pageant

Moate native Noor Judge Alsalihi represented Ireland in the Miss Middle East pageant in Dubai this weekend.

The prestigious event took place on August 16 and 17 at the Rixos Bab Al Bahr UAE.

Whilst Noor didn't take home the crown this year, she is grateful for her journey at the competition.

Taking to Instagram after the competition, Noor Judge wrote: “For the last 5 months I’ve enjoyed this incredible journey and met some of the most influential people in fashion and amazing queens from all over the world.

The young woman said that she is still proud of herself despite the outcome of the pageant.

She said: "Back in 2018 I participated in Miss Midlands 2018 in Ireland and I remember thinking to myself one day I could even represent Ireland.

People didn’t believe that I actually could and when someone ever doubts your potential use it as encouragement and prove them wrong.”
