The students of Mercy secondary school in Kilbeggan stepped out in great style for their special debs night.
The event was held in the Red Cow hotel in Dublin on Monday week last. The sun was shining down on the students as they gathered outside McNamara’s in the town before heading off on the bus at 6pm.
Organiser on the debs committee Nathan Leonard said he was looking forward to a “great night”.
“I had the prime role on the debs committee. Hannah Kealy, Doireann Oman and Cillian Rochford were also on the committee along with me. We organised the graduation celebration with Big Boss Events, who managed all the logistics.
“I would like to sincerely thank Colin McKearney, deputy principal Bernadette Gallen, and principal Garrett Farrell for helping us organise our event. I would also like to thank Niamh Daly. She was a great help when we were organising the event. It should be a good night anyways and we are all really looking forward to it,” he said.
Before being whisked away for a brilliant night out, students posed for pictures for the Westmeath Examiner.
