Scam Alerts

Beware of scam calls, texts, and fake house callers. Scam calls and messages are becoming more sophisticated; banks, tax offices, the HSE, Revenue, gardaí, Amazon, will not text or call you asking for passwords or PINs.

Always be cautious of text messages that appear to be from legitimate companies asking you to update your account. Always contact the company/service directly (not through the number in the message) before taking action.

Be very cautious about door-to-door callers. Never let them into your home unless you are certain of who they are. Don’t be afraid to ask for ID.
