Over €700 raised at Crum's charity event

A great crowd was present at Clarke’s Bar in Patrick Street last week for a charity fundraiser – and when the sums were done, over €700 was raised, reveals event organiser, Cllr Brian Crum.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated any prizes for the raffle and auction - we had a great turn out,” said Cllr Crum.

The event was a precursor to the Dublin2Mayo Extreme Tractor Run that was due to depart Dublin Port on Good Friday, bound for Kilkelly in Co Mayo.

The beneficiaries of the funds raised are to be the special baby care units at the hospitals in Mullingar and Mayo together with the national rehabilitation clinic in Dun Laoghaire.
